One Book, One School

Introducing One Book, One School!

Wilchester is embarking on an exciting all-school book club called One Book, One School!  Through this program, our goal is to build a community of readers that includes students, parents, teachers and other school staff.  We would love for every family to make time to participate in this special event. Reading challenges will go out once a week and will only be a few chapters at a time, so reading every night is not required.  The benefits of reading aloud to children are remarkable, even to those who are old enough to read by themselves!

Families who would like to participate can buy the book, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo, at the link below for delivery at school.  We’ll read the book at home together from mid-March to mid-April and have the chance to participate in activities and discussions about the book.

Go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com and log in.  If you do not have a log in you can easily create one, it only takes a few seconds.  Then search for Wilchester PTA or input our number, AF975.  That’s it!  Your card is now active!  Just use your Kroger Card each time you shop and to help benefit Wilchester!
