Makerspace Lab

The WCE Makerspace Lab provides hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they engage in science, engineering and tinkering. In the Makerspace Lab, children will be exposed to Bee-Bots, Ozobot, Snap Circuits, Makey-Makey, Legos, Q-Ba Maze, and many other STEM-related materials.

The librarian will use Makerspace Lab materials throughout the year with all students in the school.

Students will have an opportunity to visit the Makerspace Lab during recess. The recess program occurs once a week and is parent-facilitated. It is an optional program that is available for students in 2nd-5th grade.

If you are interested in volunteering in the Makerspace Lab, please contact Anne Marie Hill for more information.
